The HL chain of supermarkets is somewhere in the middle in terms of price and somewhat conservative. They seem to do a failrly good job in wine selection. They have a wider range than the budget stores and decent values.

If there is one near you, it is worth having a look. Your money may not go quite so far as in Norma but it will take you longer to reach the point where you have tried all of the wines that interest you.
