Well, the label went on about hints of chocolate and mocha but perhaps all that stuff was confiscated at customs.
What did I really find? Great appearance, dark in colour with purple flashes and an inviting wild berry aroma. It is full bodied and has a silky smooth texture that invites you to roll it round the mouth. Doing so will reveal just a smidgen more acid than you might wish for but everything else is spot on. It's a good choice though you might get better value from some of the lesser known S.African Cab Savs Wine rating 5/10. Value rating: slightly better than average
