With a strong aroma of dark berries and a dark colour highlighted by purple flashes, this wine came out of the bottle giving the impression that it should have cost double.
Take a mouthful and you will see that the good impression did not deceive. It is not quite up to the very best of this type of wine that we have had of late but it is close and it does that for just half the price. It has a pleasing smooth feel to it and a hint of spice to add to the dark berries. Well done. Wine rating 5/10. Value: above average |
