I liked this wine as much as any other budget Montepulciano from 2000. It had a good solid dark red colour and a smooth yet firm body.
It had just the right amount of acidity and tannin to give it rather more character than you might expect in a budget wine. All in all, a good way to spend a brace of Euro. Wine rating 5/10. Value 0.
