Fonte Del Campo Montepulciano D'Abruzzo 1999 a jpoc taste of wine

I was a little disappointed by the 1998 wine from this source. Not because it was poor but because it tasted just like the 1998 wine of the same type that I could buy for a third less from another shop. This wine went some way to making up for that. It has the best aroma, smoothest texture and most yummy fruity taste of any of the budget wines of this type from 1999.

It is a little too acid for it to really hit the spot but I enjoyed it very much. There is another wine of this type from the same bottler but under a different label which you can also buy in Trink Gut for slightly less money. It is less fruity and less acid.
