Define your ideal budget Montepulciano D'Abruzzo and then try this wine and you will probably find that it is spot on. It has a nice dark colour and a very smooth texture. Not so fruity as a Merlot or Chianti but very enjoyable.
After the disappointment of the 1999 vintage that we bought from Plus, this was a joy. It's a little more expensive than the one from Plus but it is also a little better than the 1998 from Plus that we enjoyed so much. We shall be drinking a lot more of this wine. Wine rating 5/10. Value 0 |
