Our only problem with the 1998 wine from this source was that it was no better than the equivalent wine from the Plus supermarkets. In 1999, the latter slipped up and so this wine takes pride of place as the best budget priced example of this type of wine.
It has the colour, body and taste that you would hope for in this type of wine. As in the earlier vintage, there is a slight hint of mustiness but nothing to get upset over. As a wine for every day drinking, this one really hits the spot. Wine rating 5/10. Value 0 |
