This is a perfectly acceptable example of this type of wine. It has the normal dark colour and good body expected of Montepulciano D'Abruzzo. There is a slight hint of mustiness but nothing really to complain about. Over all, this is a thoroughly acceptable bottle, the only drawback being the detail that the 1998 wine of this type from the Plus, a rival supermnarket, is just as good and costs twenty percent less.
