At 5.99 Euros, this is well clear of being a bargain basement Chianti. It is better than an average 3 Euro Chianti but does not beat the best of those.
It's dark in colour and has a full body but with a rather nondescript taste. Certainly none of the flashes of purple and spicey overtones that you would hope to get even if you paid less money. Wine rating 5/10. Value: Average |
