This is better value than most of the Chianti Classico that we try but still it falls short of the mark of justifying the price. Basically, it is a bland inoffensive wine that is utterly lacking in anything to distinguish itself. It's good to drink but I expect that from a three Euro Chianti - indeed before the Euro, I would have expected that from a four Mark Chianti.
