This wine has a strong fruity almost raspberry like flavour and that stands up well to the slightly elevated acidity, the two suit each other. However, that is it for this wine. It has a rather thin body and is not really what you might expect for Chianti even at the end of the price spectrum.
You will do better elsewhere. Wine rating 4/10. Value: fair |
