You will be happy with this wine. You can - and we did - pay more for Chianti with a more important label and no better wine. It is well balanced and has mostly dark berry flavours. There has not been a really good year for Chianti since 2003 and we should perhaps just accept that but at least this wine makes me think that in a better year, the folks behind this wine might do really well.
