In Germany, Chianti Classico tends to be overpriced so it then underperforms. That is true of this wine though it is far from the worst offender.
It has an appealing light body with lots of red berry flavours and just a shade too much acid but there is nothing, apart from the lightness to distinguish it from cheaper Chiantis. Wine rating 5/10. Value: Below Average |
