Pull the cork and there is a delightful "drink me now" aroma, pour a glass and there is a lovely colour with just a slight hint of purple in the deep red.
I like this a lot. It has a fruity classic Chianti tast and aroma. In addition, the texture is wonderfully well rounded. It really is a wine to swirl around in your mouth and enjoy. It is equal to any other budget 1999 Chianti that I have tried. It gets my award as the joint best wine below DeM4 that I have tasted this year. Wine rating 6/10. Value rating +1 |
