1999 Chianti D.O.C.G. Colli Fiorentini

This was very nice indeed. But not enough of an improvement over the 1999 Colli Senesi fully to justify the significant extra cost. The colour, aroma and everything else were on the button and the wine had that little tang that identifies a proper Chianti.
A fair spot to invest a fistfull of D Marks but you can get better value. Wine rating 6/10. Value rating 0 |
