I bought this because I needed almost a litre of red wine for a family sized Christmas casserole but of course, I managed a glass on the way past - as you do.
It's too acid really to be enjoyed as a wine to drink with a meal but, if I was not stuck in the middle of a Bavarian winter with the temperature firmly the wrong side of minus ten then I would consider this light red berry flavoured wine to be a fair way to wash down a summer picnic on the beach. Wine rating: 4/10. Value rating: Fair |
