Mont Caillou 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon

This is not a bad choice. Appellation Controlee snobs will complain that it is only a Vin de Pays but we rated it as highly as a Grand Vin de Bordeaux that we tried at the same time. With a dark colour and full body the taste is a blend of dark berries and cassis. It is well balanced with no technical faults and the only criticism is that it is a little bland.
Wine rating 5/10. Value: fair |
