Gentilhomme Cotes du Rhone 2006

These days, it has become unfashionable to like wines that have been matured in oak casks in order to give a strong woody flavour. Disregarding trendiness than, I confess that I like such wines and I liked this wine.
It is not so woody as others but it is smooth and full bodied. Apart from the oak, the other main flavour is of dark berries. Wine rating 6/10. Value: good |
