This was a dark, smooth, well balanced and mature wine which was a big surprise for a Beaujolais Primeur.
Pleasant indeed but I did miss the fruity style of this wine in other years. Oh well, the hottest summer ever in Europe certainly had an effect on the wine. Wine rating: 6/10. Value rating: Good
