I tried this wine back to back with the 2002 and it was just as good so I simply repeat my 2002 comments here!

Open the bottle and you do not even need to raise it to your nose to appreciate the aroma. Pour a glass and it is better still. The colour is a delightful mix of red and purple, a lot like some wines from the north of Italy.

When you taste it, the comparison works further. With a smooth, full body, the slighly spicy taste is a lot like a better than average Chianti.
