This wine has been better made in 2001 than in 2000. The colour and aroma are both more appealing and the balance between dryness and acidity is also improved.

As always, there is a caveat with this type of wine. Even though this is rather lighter than some of its contempories, it is still not a good wine to offer to friends who are not regular red wine drinkers.

Having said that, I must say that I liked it.
