We very much enjoyed the 1999 Los Chaclos that we bought form the Plus supermarkets and when the 2000 wines came around, we were disappointed to see that there was none of this bottler's wine in the shops. None of the other 2000s came up to scratch and finally, when the 2000 Los Chaclos did arrive, we were happy to sample it.
It has everything that we enjoyed in the 1999 with a full body and a rich, if slightly heavy taste. Most other bottlings of this wine were rather thin and acid but the guys resposible for this one have done a creditable job. Wine rating 6/10. Value rating +1 |
