This wine is pretty well average down the middle for the type.
Compaing it to other wines of this type, year and price, it has a slightly nicer aroma and a better body and fuller flavour. It is also less acid than some of those others but there is still a slightly rough taste. The 1999 was better though and you might just want to give this vintage a miss and go for something from Italy for a 2000 wine that is ready to drink in 2001. Wine rating 5/10. Value rating 0 |
