Now is this light bodied or thin and watery? It is on the edge between the two I am afraid. It also has a little too much tannin at this stage in its life.
I think that last statement gives a clue as to what is wrong here. The label notes that the wine is being sold as ready at 2-3 years but that it will stand 6-8 years of cellaring. I think that the makers should not be releasing this wine so soon. I would expect that in another 4 years or so the dark berry flavours will develop and the wine will be a lot better but if you put it in a supermarket today that is when it will be drunk. Wine rating 5/10. Value: below average
