Chateau Lafitte Marcellin 2004

The label does not describe the varieties used in this wine save to state that they are the classic Bordeaux ones. That should mean mostly Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with a splash of Cabernet Franc and that is what it tastes like.
I cannot fault the wine for any technical failings, it is certainly well made but beyond the usual dark colour, full body and dark berry flavours, there is nothing else and I want more than that at this price point. Wine rating 5/10. Value: below average
