This was the best budget Bordeaux that we have tried for quite some time. It had just the right balance of dryness and acidity to make it a firm satisfying wine. It had a nice smooth body and an appealing aroma and colour.
As with other wines from this bottler, the label on the back claims that the wine has an aroma of blackcurrents and green peppers but that was lost on my nose. All in all a good way to spend five marks on a bottle of wine. Wine rating 6/10. Value rating +2
