This is one of a family of wines sold in Lidl in Germany. The common factor is that they all have a "Grand vin" label and come from the same bottler who endeavours to maintain a common style. We like it and these wines are great value.
The wine is rich, dark and heavy and has a good balance of acidity and tannin. Wine rating 6/10. Value rating +2
