We enjoyed this very much.
The Lussac Saint-Emilion region lies just to the North East of Saint-Emilion proper and, while it is not so prestigeous, it produces some very good wine. This wine was light and delicate but not without substance and character. It was two years old when we tried it and it was certainly ready. It will probably not get any better with age so it is certainly one for drinking from late 2001 onwards. If you want to try a wine from a level above the budget priced this is a good choice. Wine rating 7/10. Value rating 0
