OK, here is the deal. I have some ideas for ways to fight back against the toptext menace and on these pages, I shall set out to describe and test them please help me by reporting anything of interest in the geek talk forums of by email to meas jpoc@jpoc.org

First of all, some policy stuff. This page is unprotected so there may well be top text links herre but that doesn't matter. There is another page where there should be top text links because it contains some bait words.

On some pages, I hope that there might be no top text links and on the others, I have what I hope are some nasty surprises for Mr top text.

Finally, you will note that there are also regular banners on these pages. (My normal top of the fold ad which is mostly banner exchange but on a good day, one or two percent may be CPM.) I'm not doing that to make money from this topic it's just that I'd like to see how top text and my ideas affect my banner exposure.
