The Clash: the jpoc reviews The British punk rock band The Clash very quickly established that their musical range went far beyond the punk genre. They also established punk's position as musical genre that has something important to say about things that matter. Their two greatest achievements are "London Calling" and "Sandinista" either of which would make a great introduction to what the band is about. They were originally a double and a triple vinyl set respectively and now they re available as a single and a double CD issue. |
