My review Fifteen tracks each of which packs a real punch which is just the way it should be. So, what is it that is so great about this music? Well, the two things that stand out are the vocals and the guitar of Chad Price and Stephen Egerton. The guitar especially which manages to combine the raw, gritty punk sound with a lot more melody than the average punk outfit. Chad Price sings the lyrics as though he really means them. It's a fine performance but, frankly, I have my doubts. Is he really the bad guy that he sings? The only thing that is lacking here is in the rhythm section. The bass is OK but not special but the drumming is too laid back it seems to follow the music rather than to drive it on. |
